VKWorld Discovery S1 Glasses-free 3D HD Phone

When it comes to glasses-free 3D technology, we might think of 3D TV and Nintendo 3DS in the first place. In fact, in smartphones, both HTCEVO 3D and LG Optimus 3D have tried it out in conjunction with glasses-free 3D technology, but there has not been much development in mobile glasses-free 3D technology recently and the screen resolution is still stuck QHD(540×960) and WVGA (480*800) and locked in HTC and LG period. However, it was reported, manufacturer VKWorld opens the way to new, HD (1280×720) resolution of glasses-free 3D smartphone entry.
That’s VKWorld Discovery S1. From the appearance point of view, it has a traditional Android device design, equipped with a 5.5-inch three-gen Gorilla Glass screen with a resolution of 1280×720 HD at 267 PPI, and yet, it combines with glasses-free 3D features, and is the first glasses-free 3D smartphone that reach high-definition level. Ahead of this, HTC EVO 3D and LG optimus 3D has an interesting shooting function – users can take 3D photos and videos by virtue of dual rear camera. However, VKWorld Discovery S1 seems to have not introduced this function, because it only has one rear camera. It is undeniable that glasses-free 3D function is cool, but some people may feel dizzy and nausea while watching the screen. Whether Glasses-free 3D technology is made corresponding progress on VKWorld remains to be seen.
