Chuwi Vi8 is an 8-inch tablet based on Intel Atom Bay Trail, sold with Windows 8.1 and Office 365 pre-installed but also valid for Android 4.4 Kitkat. It was just announced but will be on sale in the Asian market in two weeks in early December.
It's a great list, probably the lowest seen to date on a tablet "Chinese" at this level. Chuwi Vi8 has a configuration with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal eMMC has 1280 x 800 pixel IPS display and Atom CPU Z3735F. Its battery is a 5000 mAh battery and its budget is supplemented by cameras from 0.3 to 5 megapixel camera, WiFi n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 350-gram frame 7.9 mm thick.
Chuwi is a brand well known in our country. Produces tablet like this for years and generally their strength is in design and materials. Vi8 seems the best low-cost similar in scope (most of the rivals has 1/16 GB) and has the virtue of arriving with Windows 8.1 ready. The ROM Android will arrive after launch in December.
Not bad. Vi8 already has its official page on the site chuwi.com. The rendering shows a tablet with a slim bezel, Windows key capacitive buttons on the right and microUSB port (OTG) with headphone jack at the top, but they are not real photographs and do not allow us to evaluate it seriously.
